The mantra ‘don’t move, improve’ has paid off for one London family

Just getting to the starting post is often the hardest part of a building project, especially when you’re put off by the thought of “stuffy” architects. Simone’s project finally got going when she found a very unstuffy one, London-based Georgina Turvey. “What they wanted was a large, open space that the whole family could use for different activities,” says Turvey, “but which could become a relaxing place for adults in the evening without Simone having to spend ages tidying things away.”
